CoCo
“CoCo - Frauen gründen” stands for Coaching, CoCreation, Cooperation, Collaboration, Coworking and Corporation. It is a holistic start-up program implemented by the Social Business Women association. The program addresses these problems and hurdles and supports women who want to start their own business. Over the course of 12 months, participants are supported and encouraged to use their potential and turn their business ideas into reality.

The proportion of female founders among all start-ups is stagnating. Due to the greater burden of care work, lower savings and financial dependence, women are more reluctant than men to take the plunge into self-employment. Many also lack self-confidence or courage.
The women are closely supported by coaches, financial experts and entrepreneurs who have start-up experience themselves. They accompany the women through all critical phases, give them insights into business planning and help them to build up a network.
In addition to the expert knowledge of their mentors, the women benefit from exchanging ideas with each other. They can support each other in their projects and make valuable contacts directly.
The program is completely digital and takes place in five modules: Finance, Strategy, Marketing, PR/Communications and Sales. At the beginning, there is an orientation phase to find the right idea for your own company and to create a skills profile for the participants. The women are then guided through each of the modules with individual one-to-one coaching.
The content is prepared in workshops, video-based units, collaborative tools, apps and learning nuggets. The theoretical knowledge can be directly applied and tested in practice in so-called “start-up labs”.
What starts as a pilot project in Hesse will be rolled out over the next three years.
