Tag des offenen Denkmals 2024
The doors of the Villa 102 open for the public!
Silke Westerhoff from the Kulturothek Frankfurt gives an insight into the eventful history of Villa 102, making references to Frankfurt's upper middle-class Westend and Jewish life in the city, but also to expulsion and expropriation during National Socialism. After changing use of the building in the post-war period, including as a literature house, and years of vacancy, KfW acquired the building in 2012 and refurbished it in accordance with the preservation order. Since its reopening, Villa 102 has been the platform for culture and dialogue for KfW and its foundation.
