SEND e.V.

The goal of the funding is to improve the framework conditions for impact-oriented start-ups in Germany and to contribute to the professionalisation of the supporting structures. In this way, KfW Stiftung would like to contribute to ensuring that in the future even more people can develop solutions to social challenges using economic means.

The focus of the joint work is the topic of financing. Since 2019, SEND and KfW Stiftung have therefore been jointly organising funding conferences to stimulate a dialogue between the various relevant stakeholders - development banks, foundations, federal and state ministries of economics, impact investment, crowdfunding platforms, and of course social enterprises themselves. In 2021, the conference was hosted online and supplemented by three topic-centred workshops. A total of 530 people took part in the four events.
