International Residency Programme in cooperation with Frankfurt LAB

With the aim of strengthening multidisciplinary contemporary art production, individually promoting creative young talent, and stimulating intercultural exchange, the residency programme Frankfurt Moves! invites emerging artists to Frankfurt. Performing artists from 54 countries – from Argentina to Zimbabwe – applied for the one-month residency. A jury selected four teams to engage in exchange with the local cultural scene in Frankfurt from 21 July to 17 August 2025.

A public workshop presentation on 16 August at Frankfurt LAB offers insight into the results of the residencies. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to chat with the residents over snacks. 

Frankfurt Moves! is an initiative of the foundation KfW Stiftung aimed at promoting international and contributing to the diversity of the regional cultural landscape in Frankfurt am Main. The residency programme in cooperation with the Frankfurt LAB is aimed at promoting emerging international artists in the performing arts sector.
