Think Tank Akram Khan
Artistic innovation needs space and time as well as stimulating and challenging encounters. The think tank set up by KfW Stiftung provides such a platform for international artists, cultural producers and scholars from a wide range of disciplines to meet and interact, to experiment and explore possibilities of new connections and alignments. The intense three-day meeting takes place in Frankfurt in spring 2017.
Akram Khan, one of the world’s most celebrated and respected dancers and choreographers, is the artistic director of the think tank. In addition to sharing his ideas of the body in today’s digitalised, globalised reality, he will be discussing with the participants the role of mythology from a transcultural perspective.
Talk with Akram Khan and Seloua Luste Boulbina, professor of philosophy and researcher at Université Paris Diderot
